I tried the Smoke Shack's pulled pork. LOTS of pork, but it was basically dry pork with BBQ sauce provided cold in a ketchup squeeze bottle on the side (plus hot sauce, if interested), accompanied by a nice pile of fries. It was good and I'll definitely go again (they've re-modeled nicely, with seating/table service upstairs and down. A big plus). HOWEVER, a few days later I revisited Panama Bill's for comparison, and Bill's pulled pork sandwich (the $5 special) beat Smoke Shack's, hands down! Nice juicy pork, coated with warm BBQ sauce (which is excellent). And his fries are still the best around. Hopefully, the greater visibility of BBQ in the area will enhance business at both places.
