We might be able to "do it ourselves", who can't throw some meat in a baggie with sauce and seal it? We're missing the point...the marketing strategies a place like this uses is the conveinience of not having to spend time hunting for ingredients, preparing, and cooking or "doing it yourself".
I didn't know they had desserts! Someone mentioned cannolli? Is it real ricotta filling or is it a pudding/cream cheese filling?

I hate it when I order a cannolli somewhere and I get a shell filled with sweet cream cheese, pudding, one time even whipped cream! Yeck.

No it doesn't blow up double it's size but a process does happen similar to expansion that is more like like tenderization. Allowing the meat to fully take on flavors other then just have the flavors on the outside of the meat. These types of devices also tenderize the meat by letting the pieces hit the sides of the chamber and other pieces. Nice investment. This thread is making me hungry.
