Default Auto Repair referrals?

Need a brake job on my car.

Looking for a honest, fair, and reasonable auto repair shop in Laconia area.

Not sure if all those words can be joined together?

Anyone hear good/bad about Sanborn's Auto Repair Or Belknap Tire in Laconia?

Thanks,
Bigdog

Default I highly recommend...

Mike and his crew at MPL Automotive also on South Main St., in Laconia...they have to be the most honest garage I have ever dealt with. We have 10 vehicles in our fleet, and Mike has worked on all of them. I have only been going there for 6 months based on the recommendation of another business owner. Each time he is consistent with very fair prices and good solid work. I can not say enough about how good it feels to actually trust Mike to work on my vehicles and know that I am not getting ripped off. I have had bad experiences in the past with other local mechanics..where in when I got the bill...I knew I had been ripped off...and I am a business owner...and I don't want this to sound as a put down to the other gender.. But if those mechanics had the nerve to pad my bill, I can imagine what they may do to an unsuspecting female. So to bring this to an end..if you need any type of work done on your vehicle...go see the guys MPL. They can be reached at 527-8145.

phil at union ave auto. i've been going there for 13 years. the company i work for services the vehicles there. most of my coworkers take their vehicles there too. his prices are reasonable, quality work, and most of all he's trustworthy. 2 of my buddies had their kids bring their cars to him for work after they had been to other places. not only was he less money, he pointed out that some of the work the other shops claimed needed repair, didn't actually need it. good guy. 524-8500
