Default Wood Pellet types?

Just had a Napolean NPI-45 pellet stove iinsert nstalled into my existing brick fireplace.

Confused on the type of wood pellet to burn? Have had many contradicting suggestions, both from the manufacturer and Napolean stove dealers.

I understand there are a lot of factors about how wood pellets burn, based upon stove brand, house ventilation, outside temparature, and most importantly the 'stove operator' !

Mfg suggests a hardwood pellet, so do some dealers. Other dealers suggest a softwood pellet becasue of the heat, and less ash.

I'm considering a 'hardwod blend' 80% hardwood / 20 % softwood.
Here are some of my considerations:
New England Hardwood
Maine Woods
P W I/Logik (100% hardwood)

Any suggestions on pellet type / brand is greatly apparecited, as this is all new and a mystery, depending on who you talk to.....

Thanks,
Bigdog
