Smile First Time Out This Year

It was serendipity: A co-worker wanted to go water skiing but the person who was supposed to be driving the ski boat bailed on him at the last minute. Past experience showed him I was a pretty good ski boat driver so he asked if I was willing.

An hour later we were out on Opechee.

We got three runs in before my co-worker had enough (The water was quite cold and the wet suit only kept him warm enough for those three runs).

Man, it was good to be out on the water again. Hopefully I'll be out on the big lake in a little over three weeks on my own boat.

This is a really great time of year to get out on the lake! There's hardly any one else out, and you can catch a calm morning where you can cruise (don't ski) very comfortably.

So what have we learned in the past two thousand years?

"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of Obamunism should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest the Republic become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."

. . .Evidently nothing.
