GPS question

I am a new member to this forum and have enjoyed reading the various threads. I have a formula 37pc that I keep at lakeport landing. The boat has an older raymarine monochrome gps with a small screen with Cmap software.I am looking to upgrade to the new A65 or c80 unit which are color and much easier to read in sunlight. These newer units use navionics software. I have heard different opinions about the navionics vs Cmap software. If anyone has the navionics chip I would like to hear your opinions. Thanks Tom
