Default Need Ideas For Boat Day Trips With Family of 5

Hello!
My family & I love the lake & visit frequently for many 1-2 week stays every year. We just moved closer to the lake recently making day trips now a reality. However as much as my family & I have visited over the past 8 years, we have never taken the time to just "chill" on the boat with the family at a sand bar, beach etc. We always have a location to speed to... Meredith, weirs for the kids, etc. We want to make a lot of day trips this year and use a boat for relaxing.

My question is this. With an 18 ft boat, no bathroom or cuddy, and 3 kids ( ages 14, 5, 2 ), am I heading in for a stressful day with no place for the 2 year old to take a nap/get out of the sun + no bathroom for the rest of us?

Also, where are the popular sand bars to anchor off and hang out for a few hours to swim, etc? Take the kids to weirs for lunch/games, etc, head back to the sand bar, etc.

Thanks!
Jason
