We drove up and it looked like nobody was there, it was neat to see the castle up close, but it was in very tough shape. It looked like the moving sale was in the garages but with nobody around, we didn't stay.
I was wondering if with a moving sale, if that meant new owners and renovations taking place to save the castle. It didn't look like it would last too much longer if some serious money wasn't poured into it. |

We went to the moving sale on Saturday - it was pretty sad. A lot of the items for sale were inside an old garage that looked like it was ready to collapse - how anyone could have ventured inside it was a mystery to me. The castle, unfortunately, is little more than a pile of loose rocks - I can't imagine the owner spending the vast sums of money needed to restore it. No doubt the view is the most valuable remaining aspect of the property.
