It's been a year and I'm wondering if due to the economy, have there been any restaurant closings, or grand openings that anyone can recommend?
Our favorites are, The Lyons Den, The Woodshed, Shipleys and Mames. Would appreciate any help.... ![]() |

We spent last week vacationing in Holderness. Did not notice any big changes in the restaurant scene in the Meredith or Laconia area. Guiseppe's Restaurant at the Mills Falls Marketplace did expand to take over the first floor space directly below their second floor location. If you want a suggestion, try Fratello's in Laconia.

I opened Burrito Me in the train station in downtown Laconia. Baygo opened a great tapas joint on Parade Rd. called Tavern 27.
