Weirs Pier Mini Golf

What is going on with the old Pier mini golf at the Weirs? Looking at the Mount Cam there appears to be some construction. Did they raze that mini golf course? It was old and run down but still cheap and fun to play.

I heard from someone I trust that they saw someone sprucing the mini golf up.
