Ryan Craft HP Question?

Does anyone have any idea how I can find the max HP rating for a 14' Ryan Craft boat?

Also, where is the best place to buy used outboard motors?

There should be a 2x3 inch metal plaque fastened inside the transom with the boats "Limitations".

Try George at M&M Salvage in Meredith....just past the Meredith PD and across from the transfer station.

Search craigslist to find a motor. If it is an older boat the rating tag may be unreadable. Is it a v-hull or jon boat style?

My guess would be 25hp if a v-hull, if a jon boat probably 10-15hp.

It's a john boat style and the plate on the inside indicating the max HP has been removed.
