In Alton Bay. This boat has hung in this boat house for as long as I can remember. This is the first time I have seen it uncovered. It is so very similar to the 59 Lyman 19' my dad had. This one has a V8 (note dual exhausts). We had the 109 HP Grey Marine straight flat head 6Cyl.
From the Lyman Boat Records: Hull Number Prefix "B" 18' 1950's style, or old style barrel stern Runabout. Total Built: 889 or Hull Number Prefix "W" 19' 1950's style, or old style, barrel stern Runabout. Total built: 742 or Hull Number Prefix "C" 20' 1950's style, or old style barrel stern Runabout. Total Built: 146. Hull Number Prefix "E" 23' barrel stern Runabout and Sleeper Models. Total Built: 892. http://www.clinkerbuilt.com/alphabet_soup.html
