Roof leak, need a recommendation

I know this is a common question but I would like to get some fresh answers. I have a leak in my roof and need a repair done. Can I get some recommendations for roofers that are good with repairs.

Every carpenter in area is a roofer.
I have yet to hear about just a roofer in this area.
Big cities do have roofing companies.

The main problem with any roof leak is its source. It may leak in one place on roof but come in home at another. Sometimes difficult to diagnose.

Could it be a skylight? Chimney?

Best to look at age of roof and think about replacement.

Visit the local hardware store or local lumber yard and ask for folks that do roofs. Start there.

I just had a roof done on my home in Gilford. I joined Angies list to get some recommendations and the winner from the list was Mark Garon DBA Garon teed roofing. He and his crew did a superior job! They showed up on time, did exactly what they said they would using quality materials and proper installation methods. Marks quote was competitive and worth every cent. As the owner of a company that does Electronic contracting I'm keenly aware of permits and proper insurance. Mark had that all covered with copies of Workers comp and Liability insurance sent to me from his insurance company without a hassle. Truly a professional attitude and a professional job. I highly recommend this company.
