Just bought a new Cobalt 24SD at the boat show. Went with an open mind and took a look at everything, tritoons, jetboats... but at the end of the day could not make the move from the more traditional bowrider. Ice out can't come soon enough. Pulled the trigger now to get a great deal but have never driven one. Anyone have one and are you happy with it?
First time going to the show since they moved to the new convention center, I thought it was great. |

Can't go wrong with a Cobalt. A pricey watercraft to say the least but you get what you pay for in quality, fit and finish.

Congrats on your purchase!
We have a Cobalt 250 Bowrider and we love it! I bought it used last year from an owner who meticulously maintained it and kept it on a covered boat lift. It is solid as a rock in the rough stuff and we have had 10 people on it and there is plenty of room. And, the 425HP big block with captain's call exhaust satisfies my occasional mid-life crisis and provides more power than we need. ![]() Wish you the best with the Cobalt. I am sure you won't be disappointed! |

I had a Cobalt 252 for several years and loved it! In my opinion, it may be the finest quality boat on the water. Fit and finish was tremendous with great ride quality. It's like a Lexus sedan on the water...it does everything extremely well.
I now have a Formula (only because I couldn't pass up the deal I got) and I absolutely love my Formula but there's just something about Cobalt quality and details. You sure do pay for it though!
