Fall is arriving quickly

This is from Lily Pond in Gilford this morning after most of the fog lifted.

Lily Pond is pretty swampy around the edges and it seems to always get fall colors early.

Nice photo...I drove to NJ yesterday. The color all the way down was awesome. The leaves are certainly changing early this year.

Swamp maples are always the first to change. I have one in my southern NH yard thats nowhere near water and its already dropped 1/2 its leaves.

You can't get to the fruit from that nice safe spot, clinging to the trunk of the tree......
