Hello
I have a few question boating out of balmoral in moultonborough is their enough room for 2 boats on plane going through the grave yard markers and around the bay area any info would be great Thanks |

Dan is right. As long as people stay tight to the markers, you can be on plane all the way to the graveyard. You can go around the graveyeard easily enough.

I personally find that it is easier to just go around the graveyard.... As others have said, once you get to the graveyard itself unless you are the only boat, there isn't enough room to stay on plane with in the current laws, you must proceed at headway speed....

As you go by Ambrose Cove/Clark Landing it is mostly too narrow for two boats to pass on plane and not break the 150 foot rule. The marine patrol likes to watch that area too.
Coming from Balmoral I also would bypass the Graveyard by keeping left to go between Chases and Melvin and then swinging right around Melvin Island. Plenty of room for two or even 3 boats and no rocks. |
