Can anyone recommend a good company to remove 2 downed trees.
I am in Gilford and during yesteredays storm 2, 100ft trees came down across my driveway and are resting on my deck. I have a little damage to the house also. I guess it is time to start fighting with the insurance company. Thanks in advance for any leads you can give me |

We've used Don's Tree Service in Gilford a number of times and they've been excellent. It's a family business and they have a crane if necessary to remove large trees. Their phone number is (603) 524-7720.

I agree wholeheartedly with DRH - we have used Don Dockham, as have most of our neighbors, and he is the best.

I'd also recommend Don's Tree Service. They removed several large (75 foot+) trees from between several cottages here at Sandy Point and they did a great job without much maneuvering space and did a great job of cleaning up the site afterwards.

Thanks to all who recommended Dons Tree Service.
However I am wondering if there are any other recomendations? I have called Dons 3 times this week and left messages and I still can't even get a call back. I have had trees down on my property and on my deck for a week now, I kind of expected a return call, I expect they are pretty busy but a return call shouldn't be too much to expect. Should it? How much did it cost to have trees cut down?

ITD, to have the 11 trees cut down, de-limbed, brush chipped up and all good burning size cut into 4 foot lenghts and left for me was $700. I didn't even hesitate, just said go to it.
