After wondering about Pitman’s Freight Room for years we finally went to an event there Friday night.
We saw Jodie and her band and enjoyed it very much. The music was hard driving covers of country songs with a few classic rock tunes too. The country music fan guests who accompanied me said the they nailed it. The venue is small, comfortable and unique. What amazed me was the price of only $20/head! Where else can you go to be entertained for over three hours, sitting ten feet from the talent and get free popcorn for that price? And...they have a very friendly yellow lab “Rory” to greet you. He has some pretty good “I haven’t had popcorn in years” ![]() ![]() |

How many people does it hold and how many people where there? Also, where do you park?

Their website says 150-200. I think there were about 100 there.
http://www.pitmansfreightroom.com/index.html There is ample parking out back. To access parking enter the driveway to the left of the building and head back past the train caboose. |
