I am wondering if the dam controlling water to lake Winnisquam will be shut again this year? Last year it was done in September and it was quite interesting to visit Winnisquam as the waters edge was so exposed most areas were walk able.

Try this link Raymond, it appears the lowering is done every other year (on even numbered years) for a two week period....
DES has sites all over the Lakes region that can be monitored "real time" for various lakes outflow/inflows, water levels, temperatures etc. Very informative! http://www.des.state.nh.us/rti_home/...innisquam+Lake Skip |
