The entire town of Ashland has been without power since last night. WMUR has run a story on it, but said the town has not commented on the cause of the issue (Ashland has its own municipal power) or estimated time of restoration. The school is closed and the fire department is being used as a warming center. The police department Facebook page says they are aware of the town-wide outage and that it is being worked on.
Anyone hear anything about the cause and estimated time of restoration? |

WMUR appears to be adding some data to their story: https://www.wmur.com/article/power-o...-3425/64036724
Apparently the town's substation transformer failed last night at 10 PM. Power appears to be back on for at least parts of town as of 4PM. According WMUR, Eversource and NHEC provided town assistance in restoring power (Ashland is its own municipal electric utility). |
