I believe the State of New Hampshire shuts down Bass Tournaments from May15th to June 15th because of the spawning season. This would be a very good indication of when they are shallow and on beds for the most part. Not all, but enough for you to have a fun day of family fishing. Shallow on beds.
When the Smallies are on beds, you'll be able to throw a number of different baits to catch them. Running from a Kitchen Sink to a Mailbox to a Spare Tire. Usually just senkos will do. (Rubber worm) |
