I’m looking for advice on renting or purchasing a water trampoline , as well as info on types and installation.
We previously had a traditional wooden raft but gave it away as it was too heavy to handle ourselves & expensive to hire install & take out every year. Now the grandkids are swimmers & we’re wondering if we could handle one of these ourselves once the initial mooring is established. Sent from my iPhone using Winnipesaukee Forum mobile app |

They are certainly a lot easier than handling a fully built raft!
Once you have a mooring installed, just simply blow it up with air and attach to your mooring and you’re ready to go. The size you get as well as accessories will determine how involved it will be. We had a small 8’ or 10’ diameter trampoline and very simple for one person to handle and install. You will want a good air inflator for both blowing up and removing air at end of season. You will also need to clean it before storage at the end of the season. Fold and store properly every winter and you should be good for a few years! Go see BART at Parafunalia in Gilford and he can get you set up with everything you need. Good Luck! Dan

Go big for the grandkids and be a hero. Get the 25 footer from Parafunalia. Easy to self install...

Believe Parafunalia installs, removes and stores for a seasonal price. You must purchase from them.

Years ago I had a big one with a steel frame for the top pad. It was a lot of fun for the kids but a pain to take in and out. I now have a 16 foot all in one where the inflatable section is connected to the jump pad. Much easier. just pull up to shore or dock and lift and drag onto shore and then deflate. Best with 2 people but have done it myself Bought at sports Parafunalia. Leaks now and then but easy to fix. Accessories like the log roll and the blob are well worth it. slide not so much.

Thanks winni for the link. Winterh, could you clarify the differences between the types you’ve had. And any idea why your experience with repairing leaks differs from that on winni's link?
