Default Porta-Potty for an island...

Anyone know if there is such a service? Have large crowd gathering for 4th of July and do not wish to stress my septic system.

Default Interesting idea

I would imagine that if you couldn't find a company that specializes in Island Porta-Potty you should just contact the two companies seperately. Call a barge company and a Porta-Potty Company. If you are on Bear you could use Lakes Region Marine Construction (LRMC) out of Weirs. I can imagine that they would be happy to help you out. http://www.lakesregionmarine.com/

If you are going to pay for a barge to get a porta pottie out and back you might want to consider just using the septic system and having it pumped immediately after. This way you are only paying for the barge for one round trip instead of 2 (delivery and pickup) and the cost of a septic pumping will probably be close to a porta pottie rental anyhow.

Do what the old timers used to do.Nail a two by four between two trees on a hill and hang a roll of toilet paper on a small branch. This is still practiced in some parts of Rumney

Default Potty

Try Maple Ridge Septic Service in North Sandwich. They usually run out of port-a-potties for the season by this time, but maybe you will hit it right.
