Default Moving to NH

My newlywed wife and I have decided that we are going to move to New Hampshire when she is done with her radiology school. Ok ok, that is not for almost two years, but we would rather start the ball rolling now and be prepared instead of making a poorly planned decision on something like this at the last minute. I mention this to you all for a couple reasons. 1) We need a place to live and would be willing to rent for a while until we bought another house. 2) We will need work. I am a police officer and she will be a certified radiology person (don't know that correct term). I would be willing to do other work for a limited amount of time, I do want to continue my police career up there. So, if anybody on here works for a police department and can help me out or point me in the right direction, knows of a place my wife could work or rents a house. Let me know. Thanks!

Just a quick story.

An acquaintance of mine was a Sergeant in a southern NH police depart. After several years with that dept he transferred to a mid sized city just over the line in Mass as a patrolman and earned substantially more money.

Just FYI

Thanks for the replies everyone. I emailed you back NhlvrnFl. We chose NH because we are both from Mass originally and want to be closer to family. My grandparents live in Moultonborough on Winni, near Buzzells cove and could use family close by to help out. I never miss the Rotary fishing derby every February, so I am a snow lover. Well it looks like police are wanted. Money wise, I think we'd be ok as long as my wife found work in radiology. I love police work, so I deal with the underappreciated pay. I guess radiology techs are in demand and it pays well from what I hear. Thanks again "ya'll".

Holy cow, $13.95 an hour! I realize it isn't New York City but $13.95?

I can't read that without registering. Thanks for the reply though. My wife is getting straight A's in radiology school, in fact 98's and 100's on her tests. She'll be done May of '08, she and I miss Mass and NH more and more every day . I'll be up for a couple weeks in Moultonborough during the rotary ice fishin' derby this February. Can't wait!!!

Is that legal? . I'll have to check that out. I like to catch up now and then on the news up there and Boston any way.
