Does anybody know which village/town was used in the movie 'What About Bob?' for when Bob arrives at Winnipesaukee?

The story has it , that they wanted to film in September/ October , after the summer people left. Problem was , they would also be dealing with changing leaves in N.H. and this would ruin the "summer" effect. Smith Mountain Lake being much further south gave them the extra time.
I knew something wasn't right when Bob was in the water by the Drs dock...the water wasn't clear enough ![]()
