Default Christmas Lights

Does anyone know of any great Christmas light displays? I'm sure a lot of readers would like to know of areas to drive through. I live in Meredith and the lights from Church Landing down to Hesky Park on Route 3 is just beautiful. I love driving home every night at this time of year. I also know that Edwards Street in Laconia always has a great neighborhood wide display(I have not yet seen it myself, but hopefully this year I will be able to). Any other ideas? I would love to take a few drives this year.

Happy Holidays All --

The wife and I are heading to the Lake this week-end for an "Escape" before the Holidays get into full gear ....... Plus it serves as a "Lake Fix" for me even though she was INFATIC that I could not get the boat out of storage for a day or two (regardless of the Temperature).

We will be staying at Church Landing, so we've got the lights there covered. I also noted Edwards Rd (pretty sure I know where that is off the Bypass to 107, etc) Is it worth the ride over this year??

Any other spots or Special activities to take in this week-end?? Sorry Smitty, your suggestion (although intreging) is a bit too far to hike.

There's an amazing display of lights set to music in Raymond, on Crowley CT. It's made the news, two years running. Kind of a drive from Meredith but if you are in the neighborhood, it's a cool place to check out. The homeowner set up an FM transmitter so that you can tune in his music on your car radio and watch the lights dance to the music. It's beyond tacky, in a Vegas kind of way, but entertaining nonetheless.

Well -- All in all we had a great (relaxing) week-end. The lites around Mill's Falls are great ......

Made me think back to 20 or so years ago when we visited Merideth around this same time of year --- NO ONE!! and if I recall, Guiseppe's was about the only resurant open.

I was very surprised haowever that i did not see a single boat out anywhere. I would have bet money that at least a few hearty (and the weather was nice) fishermen would be out there in their Bass boats (i.e. outboards, and probably trailered in from their heated garage).

Thanks riverat. We had a chance to stop by and visit with Rose on Thursday. Bummer that she's lost her screen porch, but I bet you both think its worth it! Great display that I recommend anyone in the area visit.

Thanks Weirs guy, yes it is worth it. May even have a cooling effect on a hot summer day
I am happy you were able to check it out, and I know Rose was thrilled. Thanks again.
