I have a friend coming up to Alton for the weekend and she's bringing her dogs. Are there any good dog friendly hiking and swimming spots in that area? I think she wants water more than hiking - she's training them and wants to do some water work with them. Thanks in advance if anyone has any ideas. I'm on the other side, and am not Alton savy.

Locke's Hill is a great trail for a short hike. Children and pets have a good walk on the 1.9 Mile loop.
