I just paid $200 for green which will be just right at burning season. I paid $250 for a cord of seasoned and I mean season red oak in March. Both loads were great cords that measured better than 1-1/4 cords each.

We purchase our firewood from a local fellow in Sanbornton. The price has gone up this year (and will probably continue to rise) due to fuel costs.

Definately don't wait until fall to order cord wood. I am willing to bet that prices are going to jump this fall.

I received my cord wood last week. It was cut last fall. The price for the cord was a reasonable $200.00. The seller told me he was getting very backed up. I recommend that anyone planning to get wood for the winter start now.

Default Name and Number?

Anyone got a name and number where you're getting your wood? We need to find someone, and soon. And Craigslist is sort of scary

Default I use the old wood cutter of Barnstead.

Paul King in Barnstead 603-453-8170 for all my cord wood needs and I always get a good deal.
