And I'll repeat the sentiment --

Happy New Year! And may this one be a whole lot better (and warmer, though not so far) and more powerful (pun intended) than the last month of the last year! to all of the Forum peoples!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default And from here...

I'm happy to wish "all y'all" a Happy New Year, too, as the Forum gives me some enjoyable moments and a nice touch of home. Thanks for all the glimpses of the Lakes Region!

Default Happy New Year, please?!!

2008 stunk, I was so glad to see it go, and it ended on the same note it had all along - with my teenager in the ER with a dislocated kneecap

New Years Day was a bit better, as we dragged our crippled kid to the Village Kitchen and had a fabulous breakfast. Nothing says "This will be a great year, darn it!" like stuffing yourself with the perfect omelette. Thanks Bob.

May the black cloud that's followed us be gone in 09! I've had enough, thankyouverymuch.

Yeah happy new year back at ya. I was listening the CNBC Friday and an "expert" was talking about his predictions for 2009. Get this, he predicted double-digit returns for the market again. woo-hoo For such a terrible year I was at least able to stay out of the red with my 401K....Onward and upward for 2009!!!
