And I'll repeat the sentiment --
Happy New Year! And may this one be a whole lot better (and warmer, though not so far) and more powerful (pun intended) than the last month of the last year! ![]()

I'm happy to wish "all y'all" a Happy New Year, too, as the Forum gives me some enjoyable moments and a nice touch of home. Thanks for all the glimpses of the Lakes Region!

2008 stunk, I was so glad to see it go, and it ended on the same note it had all along - with my teenager in the ER with a dislocated kneecap
![]() New Years Day was a bit better, as we dragged our crippled kid to the Village Kitchen and had a fabulous breakfast. Nothing says "This will be a great year, darn it!" like stuffing yourself with the perfect omelette. Thanks Bob. ![]() May the black cloud that's followed us be gone in 09! I've had enough, thankyouverymuch. |

Yeah happy new year back at ya. I was listening the CNBC Friday and an "expert" was talking about his predictions for 2009. Get this, he predicted double-digit returns for the market again. woo-hoo For such a terrible year I was at least able to stay out of the red with my 401K....Onward and upward for 2009!!!
