I guess somebody has to go first! When I see cars driving out there I start feeling safe about walking on the ice.

Ummm, WOW. "cause I just saw a boat come from one of the islands and park at the Tuftonboro town docks yesterday afternoon. Made a nice ice breaker path for a couple hundred yards. Couldn't be very thick if a boat could cut through.

SO: If there is an 1/8 inch of ice to ride on...is that considered "Skimming"...? A Total legal dilemma. It just never ends. NB

My son and I drove by 19 Mile bay today and while there was ice out to the island, you would have been essentially skimming. Even he said he wouldn't do it
