Default High winds and rain

How have the high winds and rain, over the past few days affected the lake? I know the ice is probably still pretty thick in areas, but I'm hopeful that the silver lining in all this lousy weather is that it may have gotten us a bit closer to ice out. I'd love to hear from anyone with an update on the lake.

Mirror Lake is pretty much open now. At least from what I can see from RT109.
Power was out almost all morning in the Suissevale area of Moultonborough today. Matter of fact there were some spots along the sides of RT109 this morning that were almost washed out. deep gullies on the sides of the newly paved road. Especially the S turn by the Tuftonboro town line. The big lake is getting close to Spring level already with all the rain. Water is up to the bottom of some of the docks in the Back Bay of Wolfeboro. The area around the Tuftonboro town docks is already opening up to the inlet area by the beach. and the little swampy area was dumping a lot of water into the lake this morning when i drove by. I would think would be warmer water than the lake has in it. Hmmmm......
