That was a cute article. So do they still make Lucknow? up at the springs of Castle in the clouds? Lake Winni bears would probably prefer that!

Default Lucknow

Lin, unfortunately Lucknow is no longer brewed. Too bad, it was a great beer & even won some awards. The tour at the castle was great & the brewery. The end of the brewery tour was the best, free samples!

Propeller, I know LRCT purchased the castle and lands but I thought the brewery may have been left out of the deal. So wasn't sure if the beer was still flowing. We had been there and took the tour a few years before the sale.

Not sure when. Maybe sometime in the last 2 years. I think the sale of Castle in the Clouds by the LRCT was finalized December 03.

Lucknows stopped brewing last year. The brewmaster said that there was too much compitition in the micro-brew world. The #1 seller in the USA is Bud Light. Damn shame! It was always fun to give the kids a hand full of tokens and have a sampler of "luckies" at Funspot!
