Default Funniest Thread Ever!

well...ok....maybe the silliest thread ever. Since Fall begins tomorrow and the leaves will start turning soon I thought I would repost this thread as it really cracks me up. If you can remember another funny thread please share it!

Cool

So, that old thread style, tried & true, ran for maye six years, but now it's just so nice that we have this new & so much improved system. Ever read a hand written letter from the first halve of the last century, before television came along. It seems that letter writing used to be more of a stylized art for communicating and the writer put more into it. back then. So, what has this new & improved forum style done for the quality & quantity of the posts here? Has it changed for the better? Was the old outline style with its' fast-glance read, better or worse than the new, enhanced technology style? Have there been any public comments from any State of NH biologists, or newspaper journalists troling for a story, or phd bird experts, in their non-anonymous, official identities?

Sorry FFL but this is starting to get OLD. You have continually complained about the "new forum style" instead of moving along and changing with times. Get a new computer and you to will be able to enjoy the forum with the rest of us.

I do agree that it is not the same as the old but is usable and just as fun. And I do not agree that the reason for Fish/game folks, etc, not posting is the forum style.

Oh, and by the way, stop stealing threads to promote your own dislike of the forum style, this is a funniest thread thread.

Default Baghdad Bob?

I thought the photo of Baghdad Bob, with the white frozen lake as a backdrop, declaring ice-out in, what, February 2003 (?) was hilarious. I couldn't find it in the archives though....

Yes that photo was a riot, especially after watching that guy on TV so many times saying there were no Americans in the country.
