OK so one more what is it. I thought I planted a lilac bush, but the flowers are not grouped like my other lilacs. This ones flowers are more spread out individually on the branches. Lilac or not?

Really? Wow I pulled that shoot up last year from under a Lilac bush. Thought it looked like Lilac leaves so I transplanted it. It has grown pretty well and is twice the size. I have heard that Honeysuckle plants are a terrible thing to keep.....Anyone.....?

Hummingbirds LOVE them! They climb well, too if you care to have an arbor or a trellis.

Be careful about transplanting as NH has an invasive species list and honeysuckle is one of the plants targeted. I didn't research if the plant pictured is one of the prohibited cultivars.
By law you are actually prohibited from transplanting the plants on this list: http://www.nh.gov/agric/divisions/pl...ments/list.pdf |

Put honeysuckle down as what I consider a plant worth zapping. They can just take over an area and I would never put one anywhere near my shrub beds.
