Default Found this on our swim platform...

We arrived at the house Friday night to discover this monster on our swim platform baking in the sun. What kind of fish is/was it? It was 2 feet long (maybe longer before dehydration) and had a pretty nasty set of teeth.

Not sure if he washed up there by chance from boat wake, got dropped/dragged by a bird or if someone decided to leave us a present. Regardless of how he got there it was one nasty looking fish.

Default Sleeps With The Fishes???

Codeman;

I heard Tony Soprano bought a house near you. You better watch out!!

Based on the forked tail I would say that is a lake trout. A dehydrated one, but still a lake trout.

I agree with Dan. All the fins match up for a togue.

It is a Lake trout, looks to me like it has been dead for some time and Sea Gulls, or even a hawk or eagle could have brought it there to eat. Nothing to worry about, just mother nature at its best.

I must agree, while not as bad as the horse head in the bed, the fish on the swim platform has been known for many years as a sign..... of what of course no one is sure, but when the Soprano or the Corleone families want to get your attention they leave mother nature to in the most disgusting condition and obvious places to make sure they get your attention.....

I'm waiting for the post that says "Looks like my last meal at the Lobster Pound".

Hilarious Sikky....

I was thinking more along the lines of "...look how long this poor fish has waited for his last boating post to clear moderation...."
