Sea Ray 268 Sundancer

I just acquired a 268 Sundancer and I'm wondering if anyone has experience with that model, good or bad. Trying to make up my mind weather I should keep that or my Starfire Westport.

They can be helpful, spent a lot of time there when I owned Searays.

We have a Sundancer and probably can answer any questions you have. Ours has been great with very few issues besides just general maintenance.

It is a 1990 well maintained by every appearance and the marina, she is powered by a 7.4 with a bravo 1

One of the biggest knocks on that hull that comes to mind is it's narrowness. With a beam of just 8' 5" it can be a bit tippy for somes liking.

It's been yeeeeears since I've been on one, but yeah, in rougher seas they could be a little roll-y.

Very solid boat though, from the time when a 27 foot boat was a weekender, not a day boat, SeaRay packed a lot into the space. It's a cruiser, not a "ski boat", but I doubt that comes as a surprise. I'd be most concerned about things like the vinyl seats, hoses for waste and water rotting (those are a real PITA to replace on any boat) and stuff like that. Have a good marine surveyor go through it first.

Its our 3rd and they have all been solid!
