Default C130s over Alton

Sitting out having a nice glass of wine tonight when these suckers fly 500 ft above me flying north toward Wolfeboro. Maybe heading towards Mitt's to give him a wing salute or somewhere else...anyone know

Isn't that the whole idea of the "stealth fighter"? You can't find it.

Default Three Herc units in the area...

...Schenectady, Long Island and Quonset. My bet is that they are Quonset Herc's, though Quonset has J models now...tough to tell what model these are from the angle the photos are taken

Today around 7 PM I saw two of them refueling other planes over toward Newfound lake area. It was quite the site to see two of them at the same time!

Post A Distinctive Deep Sound...

On clear days, they always seem to be flying north across the lake in the direction of Moultonborough. On days with heavy cloud cover, their deep resonance can be heard over the Ossipees—flying west, towards Vermont.

We live in Lakeport off Paugus Bay and we've been seeing at least 2 re-feulers fly over every night.

I think the most we've seen in one night was 5! So amazing to watch.
