DES looks for a certain amount of snow melt to fill the lakes in the spring. If there is less snow---there are many factors they look at to figure outflow in Lakeport, including the downstream effects. Winni level is only part of the equation. Give them credit for doing a good job, and stop worrying.

Opechee seemed high, and the winni river is flowing strongly through Laconia and into Winnisquam high on the banks... so I think they are doing everything that they can with the infrastructure they have.
