Default Scottish shop on rte 25 Moultonborough

Does anybody know of the potential buyer of the Scottish shop in Moultonborough previously owned by Betty Brown? I heard that a person was interested in opening up a butcher shop? I own the red building across the street and is available if anybody is interested? This building is beautiful 1440 sq. ft. downstairs and 1850 sq. ft. upstairs. I’m blown away that nobody has not stepped up to either rent, lease to buy or made an offer to purchase. I realize the state of the economy is not in the “best shape” but this building is ready to go. I’m considering renting the upstairs as a 3 bdrm apart. And keeping the downstairs for my remodeling business. I posted a question about lettering my 18ft trailer and had a lot of great responses and would like to thank everybody once again that responded you were all a very big help. This site is great!!

There has been a fair amount of discussion in Moultonborough lately over that property.
The property is now owned by Keith Nelson the attorney whose office is across the highway from the MVSB / Moultonborough Post Office.
The issue that has come up is that a man, who had considered making an offer on the property, didn't, due to the potential complications and inability's in being able to renovate and change it. due to zoning, issues, permitting issues legal town requirements etc.
Then Mr. Nelson, who is a member of the towns planning board, comes along, buys and goes right into the renovations without following legal procedures, zoning, permitting etc. etc.
The first man,got ticked off (and rightly so) and has brought the issue to the Attorney Generals office etc. etc
There is more to it then that, but that the just of the problem.
Now, what Mr Nelson has in mind for the property I don't know.

PS. The trailers looks good.

Sounds like petty politics as usual with an attorney, who else!
