Weirs Beach Village

Last year they were just building Phase One and were really advertising it doing a great job(minus having to wait forever to DA approval) and had stated that by "this time next year" meaning this year they would have the clubhouse/pool and phase two selling.

Driving by this week Phase One is still being worked on,and very little activity in Phase Two,although it does look like they are preparing to pave the road in Phase Two.. Doesn't seem like much construction activity,minus finishing up a house or two and some of the houses that were "sold" last year are for sale again. There is also no clubhouse or pool(although their FB page says they are going to wait on the pool until all construction is finish).

They were beautiful houses when we stopped in last year,but they are WAY to close together this year and WBV hasn't updated their website to show new models or progress or anything. It looked like it has such great potential last year but this year it seems like the pace of things have slowed way down. I know the real estate market probably played a huge role,but they seemed so ready and we figured this year the entire neighborhood would be at least plotted out if not sold/built, but instead Phase 2 and 3 are overgrown piles of weeds/dirt/dead trees/etc. Did see 4 wild turkeys running wild through it though.

Does anyone who lives local have the scoop on this development?
