Knotty Pine Tavern & Grill

Just had dinner at this new restaurant. Service was great and the food was excellent.

Portions were more than enough Will definitely return there very soon. The location is Pine River Pond Road in Wakefield just off Rt 16

I have not looked it up yet, but I think this must be Dave and Sheila's third restaurant. They own the Pine Cone in Tuftonboro and Bayside Tavern in Wolfeboro.

Best of luck to them- they are nice people!

My dad use to talk about the Knotty Pine Grill in Gilford back during and shortly after WW II. Located in the old Saunders Bay railroad station. Further inquiries lead to an infamous reputation!

We saw Dave & Sheila at the Pine Cone the other evening, and she told us about the Knotty Pine. It will definitely be on the schedule when I head back up in a few weeks.

If it's on par with the Pine Cone Cafe and the Bayside Grille & Tavern, it's sure to be a hit.
