Hi - how much is a general "clean up" dumpster to drop off in the driveway for a one time full-up? Would be general waste some wood, old tree trunks, general waste (garage items.) I know of course they vary by sizes however I have no idea how they are sized. I'd be looking for a decent sized one just to be sure I toss all desired.

A 20 yard will cost you $375 and I believe its 2.5 tons anything over is around $100.00 a ton and its prorated. A 30 yard is $500.00 and 5 tons. They give you 2 weeks and then will start charging you $25.00 a week unless you work something out with them in advance. They do have smaller one but not sure what the prices are. In the past I have used Casella, and Waste Management.

WinnisquamGuy is correct. Most all companies will be the same general cost. It costs $100 per ton to dump at a debris recycling center (not the transfer station) whether it is in a large truck dumpster or in a dump trailer behind a pickup truck. The only variable is the delivery fee and the cost of the rental, but you will not see much variation in those amounts.

Thanks - so roughly around 375-400 sounds good.

Interesting idea. The comparison.
Bagster: $139 for 3 yards of debris. Our dump trailer holds 10 yards of debris. Our typical dumping weight is just over 1 ton. Cost to dump that load at the debris center: $110, typically. Even with the 3 hours carried to attach the trailer to the truck, haul to debris center, return and disconnect back at site. It is cheaper than those bags, because you would need 3 to equal out the weight and volume. You could pay the same money for three of those bags that you would for one 20 yard dumpster, but could only load half the weight and half the volume. That is one heck of a marketing idea though for those not in the know. |

It would mainly be yard debris but with some other stuff. I don't believe you can put yard waste in a Bagster from Waste Mgt.

goodneighborservicesnh.com
We have used Good Neighbor Services on a couple of occasions and Barbara is great. It was less expensive and less work than a dumpster and she will be there almost immediately when you need her services. Can't recommend the company enough for clean-ups etc. |

Try doing a local search for "construction debris recycling center" and then verify that they will work with a residential owner. |
