What's going on? Are they putting boats in the water with the crane??

Sal,
Yes they use a crane to get the boats in and out of the water. It's fun to watch that activity alone, especially today with all the wind. Also, the sound from the boats is very loud if you have sensitive dogs-we leave ours at home.

Right now they appear to be some real expensive sleek racing boats sitting waiting to go in.

I went down for just a few minutes. I didn't have time to watch all of the races over the last two days. So here are a couple of shots from yesterday. There was actually quite a crowd. Glad they had a good turn out. Parking was scarce.
