Great Blue Heron - Merrymeeting River
Look who showed up when I was looking to take pictures of the leaves along the Merrymeeting.
Handsome Devil! I did add one of the leaf pictures also! The mist along the river was really heavy this morning.

Great Blue Heron - East Bear Island
We have enjoyed the visits of a very bold great blue heron at our place on East Bear Island. It locates itself on a boulder on our breakwater, or on top of a nearby piling. Our guests have been thrilled to see this handsome hunter up close.
