Default Pre-buy Propane

Amerigas.

Just paid $2.75.9 gallon minimum of 300 gallons.

Not sure if this is the best price out there. But that is what I got today.

Default Check out Our Town next year

For 151-400 gallons through Our Town Energy Alliance (buyer's club), your price through Eastern Propane would have been $2.53 (Net 10 days) plus the $25 membership fee. At 1201-2000 gallons, its $2.08.

Last season I was locked at $2.19, with usage of about 1500 gallons (through the end of this year projected). I do own my tank.

Propane has not really changed since last year.

This year I am having my tank swapped out to a 1000 gallon company owned tank, however was able to combine my home usage with my business which will be between $1.65-1.80 per gallon ($0.45 over Selkirk terminal cost). This is based on 7000+ gallons per year though. To fill today I am at $1.65.

I called Eastern today and was quoted $2.40 per gallon stating I have a 500 (400 gallon) tank.

Seems Amerigas is not a bargain no matter what time.

Not sure where you live, but if it is towards the seacoast I would call borderline or df Richard.
