Default Seamstress

My wife is looking for a seamstress in the Gilford / Laconia area to hem up some drapes for her.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Dan

A tailor shop used to be in every town.

I think most dry cleaning shops offer sewing.

There is one on Union Ave. in Laconia just to the north of the high school. Next door to high school. Other businesses are in this building.

I think the one on Union Ave is called "Alterations Plus" .. not sure they do drapery, they did some suits for me and did a great job.

I would suggest a call to Home Beautiful in Belmont by the Belknap Mall. They sell drapery, so they must either do alterations or have someone that does. The folks at the Windows treatments Department at Lowes may have a list also.

Dan,

You can try Henry's Dry Cleaning in Laconia on Pleasant street. People drop off everything there for alterations family owned. We are there at least twice a week.
