Hi,
Does anybody know if people ride snowmobiles w/ their dogs? Are the trails in Alton on rt. 11 open for anyone to ride ,or do you have to belong to a club. Thank, Wynn |

Every trail in the state is open for anyone to ride provided the snowmobile is registered in state. In NH you get a substantial discount for joining a local club, but more importantly, you help fund the maintenance of your local trails.

Did you have a way to keep the dog on the sled? Mine is jumpy.
And just what "discounts" do you get from joining a club? I would think my NH license "helps the state", just like my fishing & boating lic's |

Our dogs just rode in our laps since they were 4 1/2 lbs and 7 lbs. I had the smaller one in my jacket most of the time. The 7 lb one flipped with the hotrod at 50 mph which didn't make me happy. I did have a bag but didn't use it for them. I think your dog would just ride with you if he likes it.
