New children's book about the lake!

A wonderful children's book has just been written by a local author and published in time for Christmas gifts! It's about a young girl who spends a summer day on the lake with her grandparents and makes all kinds of Winnipesaukee discoveries such as the chapel on Bear Island, the Sophie C, the loons, the Mount! This hardcover book is available at Gilford Country Store, Innisfree book store in Meredith, the Loon Center, Country Bookseller in Wolfeboro, Bayswater Books in Center Harbor, and Sunflower Natural Foods in Laconia.

That’s great! I’ll be buying one for my Granddaughter as she just loves it when we take her out on the boat and I always point out the lake’s wonders and activity!

I am so excited to buy this book for my daughter. I checked the online stores for Gifford CS, the Loon Ctr, Bayswater and Innisfree. Unfortunately, none of the merchants have it available for sale on-line. Any idea how I might order one.

Yes! Call Gilford Country Store and ask to have it mailed to you! They will be happy to!

Just called Innisfree Bookstore in Meredith. They are out of them and also the author is. Expect new shipment early Dec. Put on waiting list. They do mail out.
