Just because I was curious, and not to hijack a different thread, after the Webmaster's post I looked to see what Tom Noonan was up to since they gave up on Laconia Airport.
TOM NOONAN Tandem Instructor/Examiner Tom Noonan has made 3500 skydives and is a USPA Tandem Instructor-Examiner, USPA AFF Instructor, and USPA Instructor Examiner Rating Course (IERC) director. He also holds a FAA Senior Rigger certification and is a USPA Safety & Training Advisor (S&TA). Tom holds the world record (along with Wendy Smith and Jai Kashan) for the highest parachute landing at 17,192ft. He has been with Everest Skydive since it's inception in 2008 and in charge of the tandem skydiving program of Everest Skydive and the tandem equipment rigging and maintenance. More information and the website here for those who may be interested. https://incredible-adventures.com/sk...rest-team.html |

One of the wildest threads I think I've ever witnessed during my tenure here. Truly legendary and I was pulling for them. Every update brought some level of excitement, too bad it never worked out.

Located just about five miles from Route 93-Exit 26 in Plymouth, NH, on Fairgrounds Rd, it is a very small, quiet, little used airport, www.airnav.com/airport/1P1 , the Plymouth Municipal Airport has one green grass runway and is owned by the Town of Plymouth, NH.
Is there an existing sky diving business out there that is looking for a new location? I suspect the Plymouth Airport could be a much friendlier go than the Laconia Airport, plus it is much easier to access from Route 93 by car. Just a suggestion!
