Weirs Beach Fireworks

The Events Calendar indicated fireworks tonight at 10:00 pm . . . got there by boat to find no fireworks! Are there fireworks at all this weekend? Not a total loss as a margarita at Rita's for "the road" was quite tasty.

I'm very sorry that my calendar failed you.

Perhaps they changed the date due to funding?

I get much of my information at VisitNH.gov and it shows fireworks for September 2nd. ???

If I remember corectly when I was at Weirs back in August I thought the sign said Sun September 4th 10pm, and there was not going to be any on Friday I could be wrong but I thought I remember seeing that.

Thanks for the info nym3007. The 4th makes sense.

The telephone number listed above is for Greater Laconia/Weirs Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Their calendar, which I often refer to, has fireworks listed for September 2nd.

No one was there when I called, so we still do not know what happened.
They must have forgotten to update their site.

Weirs Online has them listed for Monday, the 5th.

That can't be right.

Those are 2004 dates RG.
